COMMERCIAL vehicle industry experienced one of the worst and the longest spell of recessions during last three years. However, the good news is that it is reviving now. The heavy-duty (HD) trucks industry hit the peak level in 2011 with a sales of 241,000 and it dropped to 130,000 in 2013.

Scania Launches R580 V8 Truck

Scania Commercial Vehicles India launched the Scania R580 V8 (6X4) truck and Scania P410 (8X4) tipper with all new 20 cu m SSAB body. Scania to begin production at Indian facility

The Swedish commercial vehicle and engine manufacturer Scania would begin production soon at its Rs 300-crore manufacturing facility situated near Bengaluru.
